This hair drug test shampoo removes unwanted hair toxins for any hair drug test. Toxins are circulated throughout the body via the blood stream. The blood feeds the hair while it is in the growth stage. As the hair is formed, the toxins are trapped inside the hair follicle. This shampoo coats your hair with a substance similar to hair spray and strips your hair of all unwanted toxins and residue within just 10 minutes! Our Hair Follicle Shampoo has a 99.9% hair drug test success rate if the directions are followed correctly.
Instructions: Results are temporary. Use this hair shampoo product on the day of your test (the day you want your hair to be clean). Avoid toxic environments during this easy two-step process.
Now be certain to use a clean towel and clean comb/brush. Do not chance using any towels or brushes that may contain toxins from prior use.
This hair drug test product is guaranteed for up to 8 hours after application. The maximum effectiveness of the Clear Choice hair follicle shampoo is achieved within the first hour. So plan accordingly when you use it!
Want to know how long any particular toxin will remain in your hair follicle sample? Refer to our drug test detection times.
We also offer the original old style Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo which can be used as a "precursor" in conjunction with our famous Clear Choice Hair Shampoo. The Clear Choice Shampoo will work "alone" but we encourage using both if you have the lead time for an even better result!
Using our Clear Choice Hair Shampoo and Nexxus Aloe Rid in conjunction with the macujo method is important for the very best results. This macujo method is very powerful and effective for hair testing. The macujo method literature is also included with all Nexxus Aloe Rid orders.

A hair drug test is another way to test for drugs in a person's system. This is not usually the typical way of testing because it is so costly. Due to the fact of the price to process hair samples, not many employers or companies will do this type of a drug test.
Because of the extensive look back of drug abuse and substances in a person’s system, employers or companies that will do this type of testing depends on the type of job their employee will be performing. Hair drug testing can look back to a person's drug abuse history very thoroughly. The standard window of detection someone is tested for is approximately is 90 days. However, longer and shorter timeframes are possible. Body hair samples are noted as an approximate 12-month timeframe. It takes approximately 7-10 days from the time of drug use for the effected hair to grow above the scalp.
Body hair growing rates are generally slower and cannot be utilized to determine a specific timeframe of drug use. A standard test with GC/MS, GC/MS/MS or LC/MS/MS confirmation requires 60+ milligrams of hair or approximately 90 to 120 strands. The thickness of different types of head hair (thick course vs. thinning fine) is the reason for this variation. Hair color does not affect the hair sample when labs are testing for substances within the hair strands. There are different cut off regulations by law that prohibit the lab or companies to back-date too far in a person's drug use history. So again generally, they'll look back at about 90 days.
Our product testing method measures the drug molecules embedded inside of the hair shaft. This eliminates external contamination as a source of a positive test result.
The lab techs can take samples from other parts of a person’s body where hair is viable for collection. This would consist of hair from a person’s chest, legs or their armpits. Hair drug tests are not significantly affected by brief periods of abstinence from drugs. Hair drug testing can sometimes be used to determine when use occurred and if it has been discontinued. Drugs, such as opiates (codeine, morphine, heroin) lay down on the hair shaft very tightly and are shown not to migrate along the shaft. Thus, if a long segment of hair is available, one can draw some "relative" conclusions about when the use occurred.
However, cocaine, although very easy to detect, is able to migrate along the shaft making it very difficult to determine when the drug was used and for how long. Many hair drug tests now check for more than the SAMHSA-5, and include at least Cannabis, Ecstasy/MDMA, Cocaine, Opiates, Methamphetamine, Amphetamine, Phencyclidine (PCP), Benzodiazepines, & Barbiturates. Hair follicle tests as of 2019 and beyond are able to detect use for months (sometimes more than a year) after use.
Keep in mind that with any drug test, when it comes to a legal reason, anyone can be subpoenaed to court for any reason regarding that matter. Some courts use the hair follicle drug test samples for reasons such as probation, parole and diversionary reasons. This test is a more accurate way of testing versus urine testing for example. Hair testing has a longer window to inspect versus any other types of drug testing.
The drug stays in a person’s hair shaft longer than in urine, blood or saliva. Usually it takes about 1-3 business days for the sample to return any type of results. Like any drug test, over the counter products or prescribed medications can alter test results to become a false positive.
This can also happen when prescriptions such as Adderall (or anything else for ADD or ADHD) are taken. Because this is ingested, this will alter the test results and the lab may need more hair samples for more testing. If you are going to a hair test, be sure to advise the administrator of all your prescribed medication. This way they won't be alarmed when they find these toxins in your hair sample.
Different testing options and the extensiveness of the testing depends on who is ordering the test. For example, an employer may want to look at a 90-day history of your hair sample. As opposed to a defendant in drug court (or any court of law) may only be tested for the last 30 days.
